As the birthplace of Global Volunteers' service programs, Jamaica's mountain villages have welcomed us for over two decades. Volunteers have helped in many ways: building footbridges, painting classrooms and community centers, and occasionally by performing dental extractions, well-baby exams, and outreach to home-bound seniors. We invite you to serve this economically poor, isolated area. You'll find the tropical vistas of the travel brochures, certainly.
