You can choose your service program by the population of local people our hosts serve. These work projects range from child care to classroom teaching and elder recreation. Our host organizations strive to meet the needs of their communities as broadly as possible. Global Volunteers' programs center primarily around services for children and their extended familes:

Infants and toddlers: Work in Ecuador, Ghana, India, Peru, and Romania.

Young children: Work in China, The Cook Islands, Ecuador, Ghana, Greece, Hungary, India, Italy, Peru, Poland, Romania,  Tanzania, and USA: Minnesota.

Teens and adults: Work in: China, The Cook Islands, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Ghana, Greece, Ireland, Jamaica, Mexico, Poland, Romania, Tanzania and all USA sites.

Elders: Work in The Cook Islands and USA: Montana.
