The Original Adventures In Service
Tutor Children and Adults

Share what you know! Volunteers are needed to teach a variety of subjects by simply sharing experiences at a job, at school or working on hobbies.  Teaching and training opportunities with students of all ages are available in science, math, art, cooking, sewing, computers, secretarial work, agriculture, drafting and auto repair.  In many cases, no teaching experience is required.  In others, specialists are in great demand. For instance, you can assist with phonetics and reading skills using a structured phonetics program written especially for Cook Islanders. And, in Tanzania, you can provide basic computer instruction on portable computers donated through various individuals and organizations. On the Blackfeet Indian Reservation in Montana, volunteers are asked to share their professional and vocational skills in business writing and internet research with adults. All it requires is a little creativity and a penchant for sharing your own passions!
