Global Volunteers' partnership with the Cook Islands Association of Non-Governmental Organizations ensures that your contribution directly helps improve education on the island of Rarotonga. Beyond tutoring students in reading , we can now provide students with books and other necessary school materials. Our host has chosen Takitumu Primary School to receive your assistance. Your $42 monthly tax-deductible contribution to the Cook Islands Sponsorship Program enables you to become a prominent part of the growing, long-term success of these young students' lives.
Here's How it Works: Each year, for the cost of just one small take-out pizza per week, or a monthly dinner for two, you can provide educational resources for a class of students at Takitumu Primary School each year until graduation. Would you enjoy supporting a classroom this way? When you complete your sponsorship application, we'll send you background information about the students of your Cook Islands classroom, and update you on news and events on the island. And, each year, you're invested in the students' growth and development, while you learn more about developments in the host community.
