Well, we are back up to three volunteers with Pam feeling a bit better. I started out in Tía Gaby’s room, mark with Tía Diana, and Pam with Tía Alexandra! After some breakfast, bathroom, and hand washing, we move onto classroom activities! My group did some singing and dancing then onto a project. At this point there were some parents available to work so I went off to work on the mural and Mark to work on putting up shelves – not without some negotiations! Off to our favorite and only lunch spot for soup and a full lunchtime meal with juice. The afternoon was spent with projects, children, and, of course, our daily conversational English class from 3:30 to 4:30. Today, Eva, the president of FUNDAC, joined my class, she was a pleasure! At the end we sang “Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes”; “Old Macdonald Had a Farm”, and the “Hokey Pokey”! I was exhausted! Onward!
