About Maggie Bjorklund

Maggie manages our service program in Ecuador and produces online strategies to engage new volunteers. Maggie earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Global Studies and Spanish from the University of Minnesota, for which she studied development in Costa Rica and Ecuador. A native of Minnesota, Maggie has resided in Quito, Ecuador since her college years. Before joining the Global Volunteers staff in 2011, Maggie worked as an English teacher and translator in Ecuador.
