An Adventure of the Heart in India!

Volunteer in India and improve children’s early start in life!  Help once-homeless youth in Chennai reach their full potential through games, English lessons, homework assistance, and by helping to improve their living facilities.  At the same time, you experience all the color, music, art and flavor of Indian culture. Travel with us – a long-standing non-profit leader in worldwide volunteering.

Give. Explore. Care. Make Friends. Be a Global Volunteer.

Every day is a new adventure in service working under the direction of our community partners. Your volunteer assistance directly elevates the futures of Indian children who have been abandoned, orphaned or are from families too poor to care for them.

And, consider this: Your program contribution
($2,396 – $2,596) and travel costs are tax-deductible!
One- and two-week itineraries, including lodging, food, local transportation, project materials and a trained team leader are available year-round. There’s no other program like this to truly make a difference and experience this fascinating country.

Community Teamwork

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

Play, sing and draw. You offer the “extra” attention at-risk kids crave and deserve, while also mentoring them in life skills and self-reliance.

Conversational English

Help youth improve their English language skills using music, games, and your own creativity. Work with Indian teachers or in small groups– no experience necessary.

Repair and Maintenance

Help with painting, repairing, plastering, and decorating facilities and providing electrical and plumbing assistance.

Health and Nutrition Education

Teach how to prevent the spread of infectious disease, demonstrate effective hand washing with soap and water, and how to prepare healthy meals.

Numeracy and Computer Literacy

Help teens learn computer basics, and work one-on-one and in small groups on numeracy and math comprehension with students of all ages.
