Have you ever thought: “I have one chance to truly make a difference?”
This is it! Join a Tanzanian adventure in service – your chance to make a long-lasting difference in children’s and mothers’ lives. And, along the way, you’ll change your own for good. Just 1-2 weeks on a long-term development program. It’s your chance of a lifetime.
And what’s more, your service program contribution is tax-deductible! Contact us for a full description of costs.
The volunteer work projects are meaningful and effective. Provide preschool instruction and care, primary school tutoring, secondary school mentoring, programs for pregnant women and children, and repair and improvements to community buildings – while experiencing all the color, music, art and flavor of Tanzanian culture. Work with youth, adults, teachers, health care professionals and community leaders – a wide swath of Tanzanian society.

Global Volunteers provides essential services no cost to people in need, which enables partner communities to fully benefit from the human and material resources these teams provide. Your tax-deductible contribution not only covers your own daily costs and volunteer recruitment and management, but invests in these ongoing partnerships to sustain the important work from year to year. All inclusive, year-round itineraries include lodging, food, local transportation, project materials, program administrative costs and a trained team leader.
