An Adventure of the Heart in South America!

Experience Ecuador and Peru deeply through meaningful year-round volunteer projects!  Work with toddlers, teachers, parents, teens and young adults, and learn about their rich, colorful culture! Global Volunteers is your guide on the highest-rated South American “alternative vacation” available.

Come as you are – no special skills or prior experience is necessary. These are short-term programs (one and two weeks) that have long-term impact over time. You’ll experience all the color, music, art and flavor of  the community, while you contribute to projects to improve local people’s daily lives.

Give. Explore. Care. Make Friends. Be a Global Volunteer.

Every day is a new adventure in service working under the direction of our community partners. Teams consist of 5-15 volunteers of all backgrounds and ages. Best yet: You can be assured that your skills and interests are put to the best use in our partner communities. Travel with us – a long-standing non-profit leader in worldwide volunteering.

And, consider this: Your program contribution and travel costs are tax-deductible! A fixed program contribution includes hotel lodging, food, local transportation, project materials and a trained team leader. There’s no other program like this to truly make a difference and experience this fascinating part of the world.

Community Teamwork

Nurture Children

Help caregivers in preschools and children’s homes to provide an enriching environment to give kids a healthy start in life!  Use games, books, songs, dances and anything else you can think of to stimulate young minds. No previous experience is necessary – just a love of children and a willingness to share your creativity and energy.

Teach Conversational English

If you’re a native English speaker, you can be a teacher!  Help children, teens and young adults with English lessons – from basic to advanced levels. Practice conversation using our English Teaching Guide and prepared curricula. This is where you can really make a difference – help future leaders become confident in their language abilities.

Help With Labor Projects

Do you like to paint, saw, build, clean or help those who do?  We often are asked for volunteers who will help on maintenance and repair projects.  Nothing heavy – just a helping hand to keep things in ship shape!
