Children in communities around the world are in tremendous need. Sometimes those needs show up on the network news or social media. But for most children, their needs go totally unnoticed. There are no cameras or reporters to make us aware. Global Volunteers focuses on those children.

There is a child hundreds or thousands of miles from you who needs help. Who needs something you know how to do. Who needs a week or two of your time, and their life’s arc will be forever changed. And your life will be forever changed with it.

Create, Nurture, and Sustain

Global Volunteers goal is to create, nurture and sustain the well-being of the world’s children and their community, so they can realize the full promise of their human potential. We are invited by community leaders to help parents, teachers, healthcare providers, and faith-based organizations meet children’s needs and improve their lives. We engage short-term volunteers, just average ordinary people, to serve local communities by helping with long-term community development projects.

You will put your particular skills to work nurturing, feeding, healing, teaching, shaping, educating and often saving children. This is the opportunity to become significant in ways you could not imagine by becoming a Global Volunteer.

You are needed to travel, engage in another culture, and do something good for the world. A more important financial investment you will never make. You will leave your mark on the world. And the world, in turn, will leave its mark on you.
