BUILDING REPAIR AND PAINTING
Do you like to work with your hands? Can handle a paintbrush and hammer? Have you worked in the trades fields? Use these skills and other “handyman” interests on volunteer labor projects abroad and in the U.S. Paint, repair, and renovate classrooms, health clinics, community centers, and childcare facilities. In the tropics, paint has a short life span, and buildings need ongoing maintenance. You can brighten the lives of students and children recovering in a hospital by providing a fresh coat of paint to walls. Help with plumbing, carpentry and electrical assistance. Construct playgrounds and watch children really play! Teach young people to develop their trades skills. Offer your experience in carpentry, painting, masonry, or plumbing on labor projects abroad.
