Bring Hope and Healing to Displaced Ukrainian Families

Ukrainian families displaced by war continue navigating profound emotional challenges as they rebuild their lives in Poland. Throughout the school year, Ukrainian mothers and children gather at Reymontowka—the historic manor house where volunteers reside—for restorative evenings centered around shared meals, music, laughter, games, and meaningful conversation. These welcoming gatherings offer families a respite from uncertainty, allowing them to relax and feel supported.

During summer months, volunteers lead vibrant English camps where Ukrainian and Polish children come together for games, crafts, conversational English, songs, and exciting field trips. For Ukrainian children still processing trauma and upheaval, these camps provide invaluable weeks filled with joy, stability, and carefree play. For those who have settled in Poland, the experience strengthens language skills, nurtures new friendships, and builds lasting confidence.

Open Doors Through English Education in Polish Classrooms

From September to May, volunteers become valued teachers in primary schools, secondary schools, and university classrooms throughout the county. Students recognize that strong English skills unlock opportunities for higher education, global communication, and competitive careers—and they’re motivated to learn.

In the classroom, you’ll facilitate natural conversation practice, refine pronunciation, build robust vocabularies, and guide listening comprehension activities. Your authentic enthusiasm and real-world experience bring lessons to life, helping students express themselves naturally and communicate with genuine confidence. No prior teaching experience required—your fluency and cultural perspective are the most valuable assets you bring.

Unleash Your Inner Child at Summer English Camps

Each July and August, Reymontowka hosts energetic English camps for Polish students eager to sharpen their language skills. Through playful, hands-on learning, volunteers guide students in improving pronunciation, expanding vocabulary, and mastering everyday expressions via games, songs, and conversations.

The camp atmosphere buzzes with energy and laughter as students absorb fresh perspectives from volunteers. No teaching experience necessary—bring your enthusiasm, patience, and willingness to connect. You’ll have access to the Global Volunteers English Teaching Guide and an extensive resource library.
