Once again, I had tears in my eyes as I saw how the hotel kitchen staff shows their love for us. They had decorated our table with two bouquets of handmade long-stemmed paper roses – one for each tem member. They had also gotten some individual packages of strawberry jam for us. I have no doubt that it took a special effort to acquire that precious jam.
I love all of these students, but three young men in particular are more special. I almost feel as if I am leaving behind my sons.
The trip has been very special to me. First because I have been blessed to share it with my grandson Andrew, and second because of how warm, loving and gracious the local people are. I will remember this trip as the best mission trip I have ever taken. – Glenda
