Tuesday Is Togetherness Day & Flag Day

This is our second day at school and we are beginning to feel  connected. We are now more relaxed and ready to meet the challenges of a new day.  At 10 AM, we participated  in a flag ceremony along with teachers from Spain and Germany. We all presented flags from our countries to the school’s principal. After the ceremony we went back to our teaching assignments conversing with the students. Then it was time for a wonderful lunch at a local restaurant where we had the first celebration of the day for Benita’s birthday. Once we returned to the hotel, some of us tutored the adults in the community, who want to improve their English.  Dinner at the hotel and Benita’s second birthday celebration occurred at 8 PM – la cena.

                                                    All in all, another long but wonderful day
