Free Time Adventures & Photos – in Portugal

One week of teaching has gone by in a flash. Beja continues to reveal itself as a beautiful city inhabited by warm and friendly people. Loretta and Scott (volunteer teammates) walked this afternoon to the super, supermarket in the shopping center to see Beja’s interpretation of the American Dream. Huge food market with a very interesting meat and produce department–you can just about buy anything there.

Much excitement is generated by the team in planning for the weekend. Going to the ancient city of Evora is planned already (thanks to volunteer teammate Helen), along with the possibility of going to the south coast. Since we’re a “trusting, tolerant, patient and flexible team, ” whatever plans are implemented will result in a lot of fun.
