The Visit – and A Hope for the Future

Today we were surprised to see that one of the children’s mothers showed up to visit. It was clear from observation that this was an extremely emotional moment for both the son and mother. As we viewed from a distance, we watched the two eat an abundance of food that the mother had bought and prepared. Upon her departure, both mother and child cried for one another. I personally was emotionally impacted from seeing this event occur. Our host told us that they will be spending Easter together, and he’ll possibly return to her permanently in the near future. We hope it all works out for the son and mother.
